  • Talkiatry is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join the New Patient Experience team.
  • This team is responsible for guiding patients from their first interaction with the platform to their first appointment with a provider.
  • The role involves building and maintaining features across the full stack to help patients navigate mental health care.
  • The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to develop and ship new patient-facing features from start to finish.
  • Responsibilities include building clean, maintainable, and scalable fullstack TypeScript code using React and Next.js.
  • The engineer will work across the stack, crafting intuitive frontend interactions and designing performant backend services and APIs.
  • Writing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and support safe releases is required.
  • Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to teammates is expected.
  • The engineer will help monitor, debug, and improve application performance and error handling in production.
  • Engagement in team rituals like sprint planning, retrospectives, and design reviews is part of the role.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript and exposure to modern web development frameworks such as React and Next.js.

  • Interest or experience in building fullstack applications, especially in a cloud-based environment, is preferred; AWS experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
