We are hiring skilled engineers to help build our next-generation voice/text conversational AI application.
You will work on projects critical to TrueLark’s growth, with opportunities to innovate and shape the future of voice-first AI systems.
This role requires strong backend engineering expertise, hands-on experience with voice APIs, and the ability to design scalable, event-driven systems that integrate conversational AI, real-time voice, and robust APIs.
This position will be hybrid (remote/in office in Bangalore, India).
You will report to the CTO.
Requirements:
You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
You should have 3+ years of backend development experience with Python and Java.
Strong expertise in API development (FastAPI preferred), webhook handling, and business logic orchestration is required.
Proven experience with real-time voice/telephony APIs (e.g., Twilio), STT/TTS integration, and webhook workflows is necessary.
You should possess solid knowledge of databases (SQL, schema design) and message queues.
Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP/SOLID principles is essential.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) for scalable deployments is necessary.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
You must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
