Experian is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities include designing scalable, secure, and available infrastructure on AWS platforms.
The engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible is required.
Monitoring system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus or Grafana is part of the job.
Collaboration with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack is essential.
The engineer will implement and enforce security best practices, including secrets management, access control, and vulnerability scanning.
Mentoring junior DevOps engineers and contributing to team knowledge sharing is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
Experience with the AWS platform is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or YAML is required.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
Experience with networking, security, and system administration is required.
Familiarity with managing, logging, and alerting tools is necessary.
Candidates should be familiar with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
