  • The Software Engineering Lead will unite and grow three functional areas: Content Generation, Application, and Integrations.
  • The role involves hands-on coding (β‰ˆ50%), project execution (β‰ˆ30%), and coaching/resource allocation (β‰ˆ20%).

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building and shipping B2B SaaS software, with at least 2 years in an engineering lead or manager role.
  • Hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, and AWS (ECS, Bedrock, RDS) is required.
  • A proven track record of delivering React + Tailwind front-end applications integrated with Rails backends is necessary.
  • Experience in architecting and scaling background-job-driven workflows and data ingestion pipelines is essential.
  • Familiarity with generative AI ecosystems and their integration patterns is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including writing specs, breaking down tasks, and driving sprints in Linear, are needed.
  • A collaborative leadership style with excellent communication, empathy, and the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders is important.
  • A passion for developer productivity and experience with AI-based coding tools or similar innovations is desired.
  • Candidates should thrive in fast-paced startup environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
