Remote Software Quality Engineer

Description:

• The role involves maintaining existing automation test frameworks.
• Responsibilities include collecting and reporting quality metrics from test execution.
• The position requires working with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automating them.
• The candidate will create comprehensive test plans, execute them, and automate the processes.
• Support for engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and development/test environments is also required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow and coding skills that yield high-quality results is required.
• Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and other open-source projects is necessary.
• Familiarity with the agile methodology for software development teams is essential.
• The ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated) and their strengths and weaknesses is required, along with the ability to track and address any discovered issues.
• Proficiency in using tools such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools to assist with daily tasks is expected.
