The client develops advanced informatics tools that support cancer care delivery in leading health systems and academic medical centers across the U.S.
The position is for a high-performing Software Sales Executive to lead sales efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region.
This is a remote, field-based role managing a territory with significant whitespace opportunity.
The Software Sales Executive will sell innovative software that directly supports clinicians, improves workflows, and helps cancer centers deliver more effective care.
Responsibilities include owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and close.
The role involves developing relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level, IT, clinical, and administrative decision-makers.
The executive will drive new business with hospitals, academic centers, and oncology-focused care providers.
The position requires partnering with internal teams for product demonstrations, RFP responses, and implementation support.
Maintaining detailed records in CRM and delivering accurate pipeline and forecast updates is also essential.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of software sales experience, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
Experience selling into complex healthcare environments such as IDNs, cancer centers, and health systems is required.
An understanding of oncology workflows, radiotherapy systems, or medical software is preferred.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a consultative sales environment is necessary.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
The ability to travel throughout the region up to 70% is required.
