Remote Solution Architect

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Architect to join our team.

• The role involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements and translating them into detailed architecture and design, focusing on cloud-native approaches and best practices.
• The Solution Architect will develop comprehensive technical solutions leveraging cloud services and technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Responsibilities include analyzing both business and technical challenges, identifying functional and non-functional needs within a cloud environment to design optimal solutions that meet client objectives.
• The position requires providing precise specifications for the definition, management, and delivery of cloud-based solutions, incorporating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation techniques to drive efficiency and consistency.
• The Solution Architect will lead the delivery of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Proof of Concept (POC) implementations on cloud platforms, demonstrating the feasibility and value of proposed solutions to customers.
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical problems within cloud environments is necessary, leveraging automation and scripting to streamline resolution processes and minimize downtime.
• The role includes driving automation initiatives across cloud infrastructure, scripting routine tasks and workflows using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• The Solution Architect will implement IaC methodologies using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently and reliably.
• Incorporating best practices for security and compliance into cloud-based solutions is essential, leveraging native security features and third-party tools to protect data and applications against emerging threats.
• Continuous learning is expected to stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and DevOps, continuously refining solutions to meet evolving business needs and industry standards.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more areas of the IT industry is required.
• Experience building complex solutions on AWS or Microsoft Azure is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• A solid understanding of containers and serverless architecture is necessary.
• Experience designing relational or non-relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Aurora, DocumentDB, or DynamoDB is required.
• Familiarity with agile approaches and experience in DevOps or DevSecOps is necessary.
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools is required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
