The Solution Engineer will support pre-sales engagements with existing and prospective enterprise customers.
This role involves building trusted advisor status with business leaders and driving preference for the implementation of PointClickCare's platform.
The Solution Engineer will develop customer-focused relationships to identify business and technical challenges and create specific actions to address them.
Responsibilities include demonstrating expertise in the customization, configuration, and implementation of PointClickCare's products.
The role requires collaboration across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery based on the scope of work.
The Solution Engineer will become a subject matter expert in PointClickCare's offerings and support complicated state-wide or regional projects.
This position will also identify barriers, red flags, or unrealistic client expectations and communicate them to Sales and Product leadership.
Participation in the sales proposal, RFP, Statement of Work, and information security questionnaire generation process is expected.
The role is internal and external facing, providing technical and feature expertise in client meetings.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
Candidates should have senior experience with SaaS implementation or technical support.
SaaS sales support experience is preferred.
Knowledge of health IT, including EHRs, population health, and HIEs, is preferred.
Proven experience in serving clients, ideally from a consulting or services-oriented firm, or in sales, partnerships, or customer success roles is necessary.
Comfort in presenting information to diverse groups, leading meetings, and providing training both in person and on the phone is essential.
Previous experience leading cross-functional teams that include both internal and external stakeholders is required.
Experience in leading projects or implementations is necessary.
AI fluency and experience using MS365 Copilot are required.
