• Matillion is seeking a Solutions Architect based in Dubai to support its growth in the Middle East.
• The Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in securing technical wins and maximizing annual contract value (ACV) with enterprise customers.
• Responsibilities include diagnosing customer pain points, engaging stakeholders, and supporting digital sales rooms.
• The role involves delivering tailored demonstrations, articulating how Matillion's solutions address customer challenges, and validating solution fit through workshops and trials.
• The Solutions Architect will document customer insights for smooth handoffs to Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and support customer engagement and upselling opportunities.
• The position requires a consultative approach, combining solution selling, technical expertise, and customer-centric engagement.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solution Architect or Sales Engineer.
• Strong experience in solution selling and the ability to demonstrate value through tailored software presentations is essential.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with Cloud Data Platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks is required.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with technical problem-solving and integration technologies, including APIs, Linux, and SQL, is expected.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have: Experience with Matillion products, knowledge of big data technologies, familiarity with version control tools like Git, and a degree in Computer Science or related field.
