We are hiring a Solutions Architect to support our EMEA customers.
This position reports to the VP of Revenue and involves working directly with large enterprises to transform and accelerate software development practices.
The role includes collaborating with engineering teams to architect and implement solutions that enhance productivity.
The mission is to drive automation of development practices through our product, ensuring technical success from proof of value through renewal and expansion.
Responsibilities include owning the technical success of enterprise customers post-sales, designing optimal Gitpod environments, providing hands-on technical coaching, understanding customer workflows, improving onboarding efficiency, and developing repeatability through documentation and workshops.

A seasoned technologist with a strong foundation in computer science, software development, developer tools, containerization, and cloud infrastructure is required.
The ideal candidate should take full responsibility for customer success, addressing frustrations and pain points while driving progress.
A product evangelist who understands customer needs and the product's potential is essential.
Significant experience in a technical, customer-facing role within large enterprises, especially in regulated industries, is preferred.
Direct experience working with technical personas such as Developers, Architects, and Security is necessary.
Expertise in platform engineering and developer productivity practices is required.
Familiarity with a wide range of software development life cycle tools is essential.
In-depth cloud experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, and/or GCP is required.
High-growth, early-stage startup experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel to customers as needed is expected.
Familiarity with tools such as Pylon, Linear, SFDC, and Gong is preferred.
