The Solutions Architect will provide design and delivery expertise for solutions in a modern cloud-based insurance environment.
This role involves engaging with clients to understand their requirements and advising on appropriate solution architectures.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Product Managers to ensure alignment between client needs and solution design.
The architect will work closely with Delivery Managers to oversee the architecture approach during solution deployment.
Responsibilities include exploring creative alternatives to identify effective solutions and ensuring that designed solutions meet client expectations and company standards.
The role also involves assisting in identifying and selecting off-the-shelf components to meet client needs and providing ongoing support throughout the implementation process.
The architect must maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles within the insurance sector, with exposure to multiple lines of business.
Experience in delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise environment is required.
The ability to define and socialize a product/enterprise roadmap is essential.
Candidates should be able to translate client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.
A strong understanding of business architecture models and patterns is necessary.
The ideal candidate has designed and implemented innovative solutions to business problems and can think creatively while understanding business constraints.
Knowledge of optimum approaches for cloud-based applications with high availability and scalability is required.
Experience in designing solutions in both Relational DB and noSQL environments is necessary.
Candidates should have experience designing for API and Micro-services centric environments.
A demonstrated capability to self-learn new technology trends and approaches is essential.
Ideally, candidates will have experience or understanding of low-code platforms.
While not expected to build solutions, experience with multiple development languages and various DB engines is advantageous.
Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts (SSO, SAML integration, identity federation) is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
