The role of Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) involves partnering with Sales to qualify technical opportunities and run strategic discovery sessions with prospective customers.
The Solutions Architect will design tailored solutions using Unstructured’s product suite to address specific customer data and AI challenges.
Responsibilities include leading technical presentations, live demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate solutions.
The Solutions Architect will guide customers through successful onboarding and ensure smooth adoption and implementation.
The role requires translating customer feedback to Product & Engineering to help shape the product roadmap.
The Solutions Architect will create scalable resources such as solution guides, architecture diagrams, and integration blueprints.
Staying informed about industry trends, emerging tools, and competitor movements is essential to position Unstructured as a leader in the space.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3–5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a technical customer-facing role.
A strong grasp of data ingestion, preprocessing, and analysis workflows, particularly with unstructured data, is required.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
Candidates must be clear and compelling communicators, comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to build customer trust, influence decisions, and close technical gaps is essential.
A collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset is expected.
Bonus points for hands-on experience with Python, familiarity with NLP, AI/ML, or LLM workflows, and experience with RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and ETL tools.
Prior work experience in early-stage startups or high-growth tech environments is a plus.
