Datafold is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to help build and scale the Datafold Migration Agent (DMA), an AI-powered product that automates data platform code migrations.
The DMA reduces migration timelines by 5-10x by automating static analysis, translation, and refactoring of analytical codebases at a million-line-of-code scale.
The Solutions Engineer will work directly with customers to understand their data infrastructure and desired outcomes, designing and implementing successful migration engagements.
This role involves close collaboration with the product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
The Solutions Engineer will represent Datafold to prospective customers and partner with account executives to expand the business and establish technical and business partnerships.
The position requires a collaborative approach to bridge business, strategic, and technical concerns, significantly impacting the efficiency of data migration efforts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong background in data engineering and technical project delivery.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing, and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Informatica, and dbt is required.
Advanced knowledge of SQL is necessary for this role.
A willingness to be hands-on with technology and expand technical skills is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
The ability to handle and effectively resolve conflicts while managing customer accounts is necessary.
