The Solutions Engineer is accountable for the quality of the solution design used to quote smart apartment projects, set customer expectations, and enable operations.
Responsibilities include reviewing project plans and managing site inspections to gather infrastructure details.
The role involves creating solution designs and recommendations, which are reviewed with the regional sales manager and customer.
Ensuring seamless transfer of projects to the implementation team after a deal has closed is a key responsibility.
The position enables operations to deliver a high-quality experience and create a best-in-class experience.
Main duties include discovery and qualification, sales presentations, inspection and solution design, proposal creation, negotiation and refinement, and quality handoffs.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role for a SaaS product or other technology product, ideally with a B2B or B2B2C focus.
Experience in solution engineering and design work for an enterprise software and/or hardware platform is preferred.
The candidate must be able to maintain a professional remote work setting, such as a home office.
Willingness to travel for business purposes up to 40% over the course of the year is necessary.
