Remote Solutions Engineer/Architect

Description:

• Welocalize is seeking a versatile, hands-on Solutions Architect / Solutions Engineer who excels at the intersection of strategy and technical execution.
• The individual will work with internal teams and prospective clients to shape, scope, and deliver AI data solutions that are scalable and technically sound.
• Responsibilities include acting as the technical voice in pre-sales engagements, translating customer needs into actionable solutions.
• The role involves designing and documenting solution architectures for data collection, annotation, evaluation, and enrichment projects.
• The Solutions Architect will build prototypes or light technical proofs-of-concept to support customer discussions and internal innovation.
• Collaboration with Delivery, Engineering, and Product teams is essential to ensure seamless implementation and handoff of solutions.
• The position requires evaluating and recommending technical tooling such as annotation platforms, automation tools, and QA frameworks.
• The individual will develop and maintain reusable solution templates, documentation, and best practices.
• Participation in RFP/RFI responses by contributing technical input and solution narratives is expected.
• Staying informed on AI data trends, GenAI applications, and customer pain points to shape Welocalize’s offerings is crucial.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or related role, preferably in data services, AI/ML, or software.
• A strong understanding of data workflows in AI/ML, including annotation, LLM training/evaluation, or content moderation is required.
• Familiarity with data tooling such as Label Studio, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth, or similar is necessary.
• Comfort with scripting languages like Python and SQL, as well as working with structured and unstructured datasets, is essential.
• The ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is required.
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and customer-focused are a must.
• Experience with GenAI, RAG pipelines, or LLM evaluation is considered a plus.
