  • In the Solutions Engineer role, you will be the primary technical partner for strategic prospects and customers, driving technical engagements through demos, migrations, and integrations.
  • You will showcase the product’s value, uncover challenges, architect tailored solutions, and support new sales hires by codifying best practices.
  • Responsibilities include articulating Linear’s architecture, executing large-scale migrations, building demo instances, developing training materials, and resolving post-sale technical issues.

Requirements:

  • You must have 2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar role at a high-growth SaaS company, particularly with enterprise-scale deals.
  • Strong hands-on experience with OAuth2, GraphQL, data migrations, and product integrations is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to present complex technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executives.
  • Experience with Github and git is essential, with a preference for familiarity with Linear and/or Jira.
  • You should have a proven ability to build realistic, scalable demo environments and troubleshoot production issues.
  • A CS degree or engineering background is strongly preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams is important.
  • Comfort with SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is required.
