In the Solutions Engineer role, you will be the primary technical partner for strategic prospects and customers, driving technical engagements through demos, migrations, and integrations.
You will showcase the product’s value, uncover challenges, architect tailored solutions, and support new sales hires by codifying best practices.
Responsibilities include articulating Linear’s architecture, executing large-scale migrations, building demo instances, developing training materials, and resolving post-sale technical issues.
Requirements:
You must have 2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar role at a high-growth SaaS company, particularly with enterprise-scale deals.
Strong hands-on experience with OAuth2, GraphQL, data migrations, and product integrations is required.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to present complex technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executives.
Experience with Github and git is essential, with a preference for familiarity with Linear and/or Jira.
You should have a proven ability to build realistic, scalable demo environments and troubleshoot production issues.
A CS degree or engineering background is strongly preferred.
A collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams is important.
Comfort with SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is required.
