The Solutions Engineer will serve as the primary technical point of contact for B2B and B2C customers in various sectors including banking, fintech, energy, automotive, and retail.
Responsibilities include helping partners launch and maintain their API integrations, assisting with technical issues, running technical calls, and providing customized reference code.
The role involves building and maintaining internal tool suites and infrastructure to support the Solutions Engineering team.
This position is remote and based in the United States.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess very strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical contacts.
Previous experience in a customer-facing, technical role at a SaaS provider is required.
Intermediate to strong technical experience is necessary, including:
Proficiency in SQL, including joining tables, casting data types, and working with JSON types.
Understanding of APIs, including HTTP verbs, status codes, and authentication methods.
Experience with Postman for API testing and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with navigating a Linux/shell/CLI environment.
Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or GoLang.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and modern development tools like VS Code and version control systems like GitHub is preferred.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in the country.
