1Password is seeking a Solutions Engineer to enhance sales productivity and deal flow by providing technical expertise.
The role involves collaborating with Marketing, Product Management, and Support teams, and interacting with key customer technical decision-makers.
The position is remote, available within Canada and the US, with a preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone.
Responsibilities include being the main technical point of contact within the go-to-market team, scoping technical solutions for customer requirements, and developing competitive analysis sheets.
The Solutions Engineer will provide technical coaching to the sales team, collaborate on technical solutions during the sales process, and prepare proposals and respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Occasional travel may be required for events.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in customer-facing activities in a B2B environment.
A minimum of 2 years of experience disseminating and popularizing technical information for a general audience is required.
Superior presentation and communication skills are essential.
A keen eye for detail and quality is necessary.
Candidates should be excited about investigating, testing, and exploring solutions for customers.
A strong level of autonomy with the ability to drive projects with limited guidance is required.
Candidates must be highly adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment is necessary.
Personal experience with 1Password or another password manager is a bonus.
Familiarity with acronyms such as SCIM, AD, CLI, SSO, and SaaS is required.
Experience working with SaaS tools and in the security industry is an asset.

The annual base salary for USA-based roles ranges from $77,000 to $104,000 USD, and for Canada-based roles, it ranges from $72,000 to $98,000 CAD, both being commission-eligible.
