The Solutions Engineer collaborates with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Product, and Professional Services to enhance sales win rates.
This role involves demonstrating how the Cority platform can help clients achieve their business goals during the sales process.
Solutions Engineers must possess strong business and technical acumen to understand client sustainability needs and effectively position the Cority EHS+ solution.
Primary responsibilities include identifying client needs, preparing demonstration scripts, delivering product demonstrations, responding to proposals, collaborating with the product team, traveling for onsite demonstrations, and maintaining knowledge of product roadmaps and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in Sustainability and Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) reporting.
A strong understanding of ESG frameworks and standards such as TCFD, CSRD, CDP, GRI, Eco Vadis, ISSB, and GHG Protocol is required.
Knowledge of calculating and collecting Scope 1-2-3 emissions is essential.
Understanding how to conduct materiality assessments and life cycle assessments is considered an asset.
Prior experience with ESG solutions like Cority, Sphera, Workiva, Enablon, or Watershed is advantageous.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and WebEx are required; MS Project knowledge is a plus.
Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively, possess strong time management skills, and understand pipeline management.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills are necessary, along with a polished executive presence.
Experience in configuring software and understanding relational database management systems is an asset.
Being multilingual is considered a plus.
