Nomic is seeking an Application Scientist to ensure customer studies are set up for success.
The core responsibility is to ask insightful questions to understand the purpose of each study and guide customers toward effective experimental or data analysis approaches.
The role involves acting as a scientific partner, helping customers translate ideas into well-designed studies and actionable insights.

Responsibilities include providing hands-on support across all phases of the customer journey, collaborating with sales and marketing, and contributing to product development.
The Application Scientist will ensure that Nomic’s technology is utilized to its fullest potential and will help shape customer outcomes and the evolution of Nomic.
Requirements:
A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genetics is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as technical support, application scientist, or field scientist, is necessary.
A proven track record of effective customer interaction and support in a scientific or technical role within the biotechnology industry is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English, are necessary, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Proven experience in working independently and as part of a team in an efficient and structured manner is required.
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time is required.
Knowledge of proteomics or biomarker discovery is mandatory.
Experience with nELISA or multiplex technologies is desirable, and experience in data analysis and coding is a plus.
