We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join as one of the early technical hires and play a key role in developing our core advisory engine.
The role involves working closely with the Founders to architect, build, and scale systems that are secure, modular, and ready for growth.
This position offers an opportunity to have outsized impact, influence product and technical decisions from day one, and help shape the future of wealth management.
Responsibilities include designing and developing scalable, maintainable backend systems, writing clean and testable code, collaborating in system architecture, implementing security and performance strategies, contributing to engineering standards, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable, maintainable systems.
A deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and best practices for building reliable, scalable services is required.
Proficiency in modern backend languages and frameworks is necessary, with Node.js experience being a significant plus.
The ability to write clean, testable code following SOLID principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) practices is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and product-driven startup environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
