The Sr. Data Analyst will work closely with department leaders to understand reporting needs and develop plans to empower stakeholders with necessary metrics and insights.
This role is responsible for implementing and teaching stakeholders how to utilize their dashboards.
The analyst will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, clinicians, analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify key business problems and develop analytics solutions that drive growth and innovation.
The position requires communicating sophisticated analyses and results to a wide array of business partners with varying levels of technical expertise.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining operational dashboards to understand company performance over time and enabling partners with self-serve tools.
The analyst will develop efficient and scalable end-to-end workflows and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
Translating business operations and processes into scalable data and reporting is a key responsibility.
The analyst will collaborate with internal data team members to contribute to evolving data-warehouse requirements.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience working in data & analytics or data science, preferably at a start-up or a technology-focused healthcare company.
A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience performing analysis and complex data transformations with SQL is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, reprioritize on the fly, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Experience manipulating large data sets and uncovering insights utilizing disparate data sources and tools is essential.
Proven experience using clinical data tools and platforms, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau, to track and analyze clinical performance and outcomes is required.
Familiarity with dbt, Git, Python, or R is a plus.
Experience with healthcare quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and care effectiveness measurement is preferred.
Candidates should have the ability to translate complex clinical concepts and operations into scalable data and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations are necessary.
A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and can independently drive projects from conception to completion is ideal.
Strong communication skills are required, with the ability to tell a story with data and explain nuances to stakeholders.
Candidates should be able to think strategically while also enjoying hands-on work with data.
A knack for asking the right questions and answering them with sound data and analysis is important.
A deep understanding of clinical data, including treatment modalities, clinical notes, patient assessment data, and care pathways is required.
A track record of improving clinical KPIs through data-driven insights is preferred.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of healthcare data privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, and best practices for handling sensitive patient information.

The starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, with the expected salary range for this role being $132,100 - $142,600 for Geo 1 and $145,300 - $152,000 for Geo's 2 & 3.
