Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a data engineer.
Proficiency in writing high-quality Python code is required, with Java being a plus.
A strong track record of delivering impactful data projects is essential.
Experience in building robust, fault-tolerant data pipelines with solid logging, alerting, and data validation is necessary.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data warehouses using modern cloud databases like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks is required.
Expertise in SQL-based data modeling with a focus on governance and enabling self-service using a development framework such as DBT is needed.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
Experience working with sensitive data in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment is important.
Candidates should have a thoughtful approach to balancing quality and deadlines in fast-paced settings.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build consensus and alignment are required.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to distill complex problems into clear priorities are essential.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $142,000 to $196,000, with placement depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
