Remote SR DevOps Engineer (Azure Cloud)

• The position is for a hands-on, detail-oriented Azure DevOps Engineer with experience in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or regulated domains.
• Responsibilities include taking ownership of Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning with a focus on containerization, compliance, and hybrid cloud optimization.
• Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining Azure Pipelines for reliable deployments, configuring and managing Azure Virtual Machines and SQL Managed Instances, and managing version control and collaboration in Azure Repos.

Requirements:

• A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering is required.
• An advanced English level (C1) with experience working with US teams is necessary.
• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in IT, with previous experience as a Software Developer, and 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer managing Azure Resources.
• Expert programming skills using C# and .NET technologies are essential, along with previous experience as a Full-stack Developer.
• Candidates must be experts in Azure DevOps, designing and optimizing complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Mastery in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) with compliance and automation best practices is required.
• Strong security integration skills (Azure Key Vault, SAST/DAST, compliance pipelines) are necessary.
• Proven skills in monitoring, cost optimization, and troubleshooting with minimal downtime are essential.
• Candidates should possess a consulting-level presence to translate technical delivery into business value.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic impact are required.
