Procurement Sciences AI (PSci.AI) is a Series A company focused on generative artificial intelligence in the government contracting sector.
The company is seeking a results-driven and innovative Sr. DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize their secure, multi-cloud AI-driven SaaS platform.
The role involves working closely with software engineering and SRE teams to deliver secure, reliable, automated cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines.
Key responsibilities include deploying and managing the SaaS platform across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
The engineer will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with development and security teams, manage multi-cloud virtual private networks, and implement monitoring and logging platforms.
The position requires ensuring compliance with security and auditability requirements, conducting vulnerability assessments, and providing technical guidance and production support.
The engineer will also be responsible for creating documentation and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have demonstrated success as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Cloud Engineer in high-growth SaaS or cloud-native businesses.
Strong hands-on experience in deploying and supporting applications in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform environments is required.
Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration practices using tools like Helm is essential.
Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell is required; experience with Python or TypeScript is highly desirable.
Experience managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) and automating cloud provisioning at scale is needed.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms, as well as a strong understanding of SLIs, SLAs, and SLOs, is important.
A sound understanding of cloud security, networking fundamentals, and identity/access management in public and hybrid cloud architectures is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is necessary.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a federal background check and identity verification is required.
