  • Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support their DoD customer.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud, automation, and security, with experience aligning DevSecOps practices to DoD and NIST standards.
  • This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines, assessing toolsets, and ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and compliant software systems.
  • Key responsibilities include leading the design and optimization of secure DevSecOps pipelines, assessing available DevSecOps tools, integrating and deploying DevOps tools in accordance with NIST 800-53 and DoD policies, and developing CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Azure DevOps.
  • The engineer will configure AWS IAM roles, integrate security tools into DevOps pipelines, conduct cost-benefit analyses, collaborate within an Agile SAFe framework, develop Python scripts for vulnerability detection, provide technical leadership, and support Authority to Operate processes through automated compliance checks.

Requirements:

  • An active Secret Clearance is required for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • An IAT Level II baseline certification (such as Security+) is required.
  • Candidates must have strong DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience for DoD programs.
  • Strong expertise with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Government Cloud, including IAM, networking, and automation, is required.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker is essential.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, RMF, and DISA STIGs is important.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm is required.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and PowerShell, is necessary.
