The company is seeking a Sr. Flight Software Verification Engineer to drive the verification of embedded software that interacts with sensors and control systems, manages system faults, and integrates with vehicle subsystems.
The role involves working directly with flight hardware in the lab and on aircraft, planning flight testing, and overseeing the verification process of software that will be used in actual flights.
Responsibilities include driving the DO-178C verification strategy, creating tooling for software verification, overseeing test development, and performing tool qualification in accordance with DO-178C/DO-330.
The position requires willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience with C or C++ is required.
Candidates must have experience in safety-critical verification of software to meet DO-178C objectives or a comparable standard.
Experience with requirements-based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments is necessary.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience in defining software verification strategy for DO-178C programs, leading test framework tooling development, and tool qualification for DO-178C/DO-330.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $160,000 to $200,000 annually, along with cash and stock option awards.
