Coupa Software is seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
This role will support the financial health and strategic decision-making of the SaaS business.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing financial models, analyzing performance metrics, preparing forecasts and budgets, and providing insightful reporting to senior management.
Key responsibilities include preparing and distributing regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and the Board.
The analyst will translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-financial audiences.
The role involves developing and refining key performance indicator (KPI) reporting to effectively track and measure business performance.
The analyst will identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Leveraging financial systems and AI tools to automate aspects of reporting and analysis is also a key responsibility.
Conducting in-depth financial analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast, identifying key variances, trends, and drivers is required.
The analyst will perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, M&A activities, and operational improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with a track record of partnering with business leaders to drive performance, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to influence and build consensus among senior leadership.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management tools, particularly Excel and Anaplan, is necessary.
Enterprise SaaS experience is highly preferred.
A professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; CFA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
