Description:
This role is for one of Weekday’s clients.
The position is full-time and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable frontend and backend services using Python and React.
The candidate will apply LLM based AI technology to applications, supporting various use cases.
Collaboration with other developers, QA, and product owners in a Scrum team is essential.
The candidate must write clean, efficient, well-documented code with adequate unit test coverage.
Participation in sprint planning, story writing, code reviews, and retrospectives is required.
The candidate will create regular, well-structured pull requests and follow agile discipline rigorously.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in production full-stack software engineering.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Python 3.x, including OOP and design patterns.
Experience with web frameworks like Fast API, Flask, or Django is preferred.
The candidate should have experience in React, CSS, Powershell, and JavaScript.
A minimum of 2 years of production full-stack software engineering experience on the Microsoft Azure platform is preferred.
Experience with Azure open AI, RAG, and agentic frameworks is a plus.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is required.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is necessary.
Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies for both frontend and backend is required.
The ability to break complex problems down into smaller pieces is essential.
Familiarity with container technologies, microservices applications, and CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
Familiarity with API management tools and best practices, as well as experience with common API gateways such as Kong, Gloo, and APIM, is a plus.
Familiarity with application security and experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
Familiarity with SRE concepts and experience in application KPI tracking is a plus.
Experience in GitHub or GitLab and familiarity with GitHub actions is required.
Knowledge of or experience with Terraform is preferred.
An understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is required, with experience in Scrum being a plus.
Good communication skills in English are necessary.
