Avero is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team, focusing on building high-impact features for hospitality customers.
The role involves working across the stack on modern, scalable applications to solve complex business problems.
As a senior team member, you will help shape Avero’s engineering culture by fostering collaboration and promoting high-quality development practices.
You will mentor fellow engineers and work closely with product managers and stakeholders in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining full stack features, contributing to frontend-heavy projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing well-tested code, improving development workflows, and resolving bugs and production issues.
The position is 100% remote and reports to Avero’s Director of Engineering.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience is required.
Experience working on full stack applications in a production environment is necessary.
A strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and web application architecture is essential.
Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs is required.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in a remote setting, are necessary.
Candidates should be experienced software engineers with a strong foundation in both frontend and backend development.
A passion for user experience and delivering high-quality features is important.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
