The Sr. Full Stack Engineer will drive the development of the next-generation home care agency and caregiver platform.

Essential job duties include designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and microservices for robust functionality and interoperability with other platforms.
The engineer will develop frontend applications using Angular and backend applications using Go.
Responsibilities also include building generative AI solutions into the home care agency management software to enhance usability and efficiency.
The role promotes a culture of experimentation and innovation, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and methodologies.
Mentoring fellow software engineers and fostering collaboration and technical excellence is a key aspect of the position.
The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand software requirements and define goals.
Conducting code reviews and writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality are also part of the job.
Other duties may be assigned by supervisors or HHAeXchange leaders.
The position requires travel of 5-10%, including overnight travel, both domestically and abroad.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4-8 years of experience in software engineering roles with modern architectures and frameworks.
Proficiency in one reactive JavaScript framework, such as Angular, React, or Vue, is required.
Experience with backend development in languages such as Go, NodeJS, or Python is necessary.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or MongoDB is expected.
Candidates should have experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
Experience with high-performance SaaS solutions built on microservices and serverless architectures is essential.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
Candidates should be flexible team players with the ability to organize and plan work independently.
The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment is crucial.
Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
Healthcare experience and familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards are also advantageous.
Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $140,000-155,000 per year, excluding variable compensation.
The starting salary will be based on various factors, including experience, education, training, merit, location, and alignment with HHAeXchange core values.
