LogicGate is seeking a highly motivated Sr. IT Operations Engineer to join their Information Security & Technology team.
This role is essential for scaling LogicGate’s internal technology through secure, integrated, and automated solutions.
The ideal candidate will serve as the top-level escalation point for complex technical issues and will play a critical role in the secure design, implementation, and governance of internal systems.
Responsibilities include collaborating across IT and Security functions, maturing access management practices, automating workflows, and ensuring least privilege principles are upheld.
The role involves driving technical administration and configuration management in a fully cloud-based, remote-first environment.
The engineer will lead and maintain Okta integrations with core applications, configure and manage SAML, SCIM, and OAuth integrations, and develop RBAC frameworks.
Additional tasks include designing secure authentication architecture, supporting the SCIM bridge on GCP, managing VDI workspaces in AWS, troubleshooting identity-related escalations, and automating workflows using Okta Workflows and Zapier.
The position requires producing internal technical documentation and partnering with InfoSec to audit access control policies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of IT operations experience, with at least 2 years focused on Okta administration and integrations.
An Okta Certified Administrator or higher certification is required.
Experience with GCP, particularly around hosted services like SCIM bridges, and AWS for secure VDI workspaces is necessary.
Hands-on experience configuring SAML, SCIM, JIT, and OAuth is essential.
Proficiency in RBAC design and implementing least privilege access models is required.
Candidates should have experience with user sync, attribute mapping, and profile mastering.
Familiarity with Zscaler ZIA for access and policy management is needed.
Experience with Okta Workflows and integration automation platforms like Zapier is required.
Deep knowledge of JAMF, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and SaaS platform integrations is necessary.
Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 per year, plus variable compensation and equity.
