  • This is a fully remote opportunity focused on leveraging AI and backend engineering to streamline complex workflows and unlock efficiency at scale.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Python, Django, and RESTful APIs.
  • You will build and optimize machine learning pipelines for healthcare data processing and automation.
  • The position requires developing AI-powered solutions for document processing, OCR, and data extraction from structured and unstructured sources.
  • You will implement web automation using Selenium/Python to interact with third-party portals and services.
  • Collaboration with frontend engineers using React/Vue to deliver full-stack solutions is essential.
  • Ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services is a key responsibility.
  • You will deploy and maintain ML models in production environments.
  • The role involves working with PostgreSQL, WebSockets, and AWS Lambda for data storage and processing.
  • You will apply prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune and optimize large language models (LLMs).
  • Participation in Agile ceremonies, conducting code reviews, writing tests, and maintaining documentation is expected.

Requirements:

  • You must have 3+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on backend engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and React is required.
  • Experience implementing and deploying machine learning models in production is necessary.
  • Proficiency in NLP, OCR, and working with LLMs (e.g., GPT) is essential.
  • Experience with Selenium/Python for web automation is required.
  • Familiarity with EDI healthcare formats (837, 835, 270/271) is a strong plus.
  • A solid understanding of PostgreSQL, WebSocket, and AWS Lambda is necessary.
  • Experience with Docker, LocalStack, and container-based development is required.
  • Strong knowledge of version control using Git is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience in Agile development environments is required.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a distributed team is essential.
