Bolster.ai is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to support sales efforts in detecting and responding to digital threats such as phishing and online fraud.
The role involves working closely with Account Executives to drive strategic deals through expert product demonstrations and guiding Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
The position requires translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for prospective customers.
Responsibilities include acting as the technical lead in the sales process, managing hands-on POC evaluations, and articulating the value proposition of Bolster’s solutions to both technical teams and C-level executives.
The Sr. Sales Engineer will create and maintain customized demo environments and provide deep subject matter expertise in areas like phishing detection and fraud prevention.
The role also involves developing technical collateral to support sales efforts and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback.
Staying informed on emerging cybersecurity threats and contributing to sales enablement initiatives are also key aspects of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Pre-Sales Consultant in the cybersecurity space.
Experience in installing, demoing, and understanding complex technologies is required to effectively position solutions with prospects.
Proven success in conducting live demos, technical deep-dives, and POC ownership for enterprise clients is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to build trust with both technical and business stakeholders.
Candidates should be comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including security practitioners and CISOs.
Familiarity with security ecosystems and integration patterns, such as SOAR and SIEM, is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is mandatory.
