The role involves leading the implementation of security measures across the entire DevOps lifecycle in a dynamic, tech-forward environment.
The engineer will be responsible for building secure systems, automating security processes, and guiding development and operations teams on best practices.
Key responsibilities include managing cloud infrastructure security and incident response, which will influence the stability and trustworthiness of core platforms.

Accountabilities include maintaining and strengthening cloud security architecture in line with SOC II compliance, integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines, performing vulnerability assessments, ensuring alignment with security standards, leading incident response efforts, deploying monitoring tools, providing training on secure coding, and selecting and managing security tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Security, or related fields, with 2–3 years focused on DevSecOps.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments is required.
Proficiency with security tools such as SonarQube, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, and Tenable is necessary.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, Bash) is essential.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket) and security protocols (OAuth, SSL/TLS, PKI) is required.
A strong grasp of network security, IAM, firewalls, encryption, and vulnerability analysis is needed.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills are essential.
Bonus qualifications include certifications such as CISSP or CISM, experience in threat modeling, or knowledge about microservices security.
Benefits:
The base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $170,000, depending on experience and location.
Candidates will be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
