Description:

  • The Sr. Software Engineer is a professional level 4 position responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's software products.
  • This role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, monitoring, and debugging new and existing software systems and applications.
  • The Sr. Software Engineer will serve as a technical expert on development projects and participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
  • Expected duties include working on frameworks or algorithms used across product lines, mentoring lower-level peers, and creating processes for the technical quality of products.
  • The role requires creating architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
  • Responsibilities also include ensuring security, performance, manageability, quality, and consistency of the software architecture across the system and providing technical guidance to development teams.
  • The Sr. Software Engineer is expected to conduct research, gather information, interpret data, identify requirements, and create solutions.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of related experience or equivalent work experience are required for this position.
  • The individual should possess complete knowledge and a full understanding of the area of specialization, principles, and practices within a professional discipline.
  • The role requires the ability to assess unusual circumstances and use sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify causes.
  • Candidates must be able to resolve and assess a wide range of issues creatively and suggest variations in approach.
  • The ability to devise solutions based on limited information and adapt existing approaches to resolve issues is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners, often requiring persuasion.
  • The work is expected to be done independently, utilizing independent judgment.
