We are building next-generation AI capabilities to power our products and services.
As an Applied AI Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize AI-driven features, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI solutions into our technology stack.
Your work will directly impact how our customers interact with and benefit from AI-powered experiences, bridging cutting-edge research with practical, scalable applications.
Essential functions include designing, building, and integrating AI models, focusing on LLM integration, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
You will develop and deploy multimodal AI solutions that combine text, image, audio, and other data sources to deliver enhanced user experiences.
Collaborating closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation is crucial.
You will optimize model performance for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in production environments.
Implementing AI toolchains, pipelines, and frameworks to accelerate experimentation and deployment is part of the role.
Staying ahead of emerging AI research, frameworks, and best practices, and translating them into practical engineering solutions is expected.
You will contribute to the company’s AI strategy, ensuring our architecture supports rapid iteration and experimentation.
Requirements:
You must have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on applied AI or machine learning.
Proven experience with LLM integration (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Hugging Face) and fine-tuning on domain-specific data is required.
Familiarity with multimodal AI systems and related tooling (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases) is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Python and at least one modern frontend or backend framework (e.g., React, Node.js, FastAPI, Flask) is essential.
Experience with ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is required.
You should have the ability to translate ambiguous product goals into AI-powered solutions with measurable impact.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across disciplines and explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders are necessary.
