Remote Sr. Software Engineer, Backend

Description:

• Synctera is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their backend team, specifically within the Customer Identity, Risk, and Compliance team.
• The role involves reducing risk for customers and ensuring regulatory compliance across critical areas of the platform, including transaction monitoring, KYC, KYB, suspicious activity reporting, and account verification.
• The ideal candidate should be curious and enthusiastic about the FinTech ecosystem and take a product and customer-minded approach to engineering challenges.
• Responsibilities include developing application services in Go, collaborating with product teams to address financial services challenges, leading by example, mentoring other engineers, and continuously improving processes.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Prior experience with Go programming language is required.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience in using and creating RESTful APIs for frontend engineers and customers.
