Remote Sr. Software Engineer

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an autonomous contributor to your delivery team.
• You will develop product features, enhancements, and technical improvements throughout the platform.
• The role involves investigating and troubleshooting complex issues within your team’s technical domain.
• You will provide engineering leadership in sprint meetings, estimate stories, and raise awareness of implementation details.
• You will take an active role in the development, release, and monitoring of systems in production.
• Mentoring and assisting engineers, participating in code reviews, and identifying strategies to resolve technical debt are key responsibilities.
• The core tech stack includes TypeScript, NodeJS/NestJS, React Native, GraphQL, Python/Django, AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, CircleCI, Spinnaker, DataDog, and Retool.

Requirements:

• Hands-on production level experience with Postgres and building scalable solutions is required.
• Experience in managing data and designing platforms to serve business and clients is necessary.
• Deep knowledge in JavaScript, Typescript, React/React Native, NestJS, and NodeJS is essential.
• Excellent and pragmatic testing practices are expected.
• Experience with deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and microservice architecture is required.
• A proven track record of team leadership and mentorship is necessary.
• Skill at partnering cross-functionally across the organization is important.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements and priorities is essential.
• A background in or passion for working in health services is preferred.

Benefits:

• The base salary range for this position is $160,000-180,000 annually for applicants in CA or NY, and $150,000-170,000 for those outside these states.
