We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join Rula’s Infrastructure Core Services team, which builds the backbone of our mental health platform.
In this role, you will take ownership of critical services that keep our systems secure, scalable, and fast, including authentication, authorization, and event-driven architecture (Kafka).
Your work will empower product teams to ship with confidence by building and delivering high-quality internal tools, SDKs, and shared services that are intuitive, reliable, and widely adopted across the organization.
You should thrive on writing clean, tested, and thoughtfully designed code, and take pride in building infrastructure that supports everything above it.
Requirements:
You must have experience building high-quality, user-friendly internal tools, SDKs, and/or engineering empowerment services tools that are frequently used across an engineering organization.
A working knowledge of Kafka-based tools and/or an event-based architecture is required to ensure the current core Kafka library and CLI tools maintain and evolve.
You should have experience building thorough, well-designed, and tested code, with a high level of personal quality control that leverages standard design concepts and patterns.
Experience leading projects without supervision and collaborating within the team and cross-functionally across the organization is necessary.
