The candidate will work closely with the existing event-driven tech stack, which includes Python, Elasticsearch, Typescript, and AWS Cloud Native architecture.
Responsibilities include building APIs to ensure seamless data flow and storage.
The candidate will actively collaborate with designers, front-end experts, other engineers, stakeholders, and clients.
Participation in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and paired programming exercises is expected.
The role requires assuring application reliability and quality, especially in a production setting with heightened user traffic and data processing.
The candidate will also participate in project scoping, estimating, and planning.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Web Development, particularly with the tech stack of Python, Elasticsearch, Typescript, and AWS Cloud Native architecture.
Experience in cloud-based infrastructure and services, especially within the AWS ecosystem, is required.
A solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture is necessary.
Knowledge of secure coding practices is essential.
Bonus points for prior remote working experience, experience in the healthcare domain, and experience with web applications that handle extensive data or witness high traffic.
Familiarity with Kotlin/Java and acumen in real-time data processing are also advantageous.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $190,000 a year.
