Zapier is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Enterprise team to help build a platform that enhances automation for businesses globally.
The role focuses on supporting Enterprise customers, which include organizations with many employees that require scale, control, visibility, and trust in their tools.
The position involves working on two key teams: Enterprise Experience and Enterprise Response.
The Enterprise Experience team is responsible for creating dedicated user flows for enterprise admins, developing features such as hierarchical account management, cross-org visibility, user provisioning, and alerts.
The Enterprise Response team ensures system resilience and reliability, leading responses to critical incidents and collaborating with enterprise customers.
The role requires solving complex problems, working hands-on with users, and making a significant impact on the company.
This position is high-impact and will drive higher sales of premium plans through the development of far-reaching features.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years at a senior level.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in building and refining web-based software products is required.
Strong backend skills are essential, with experience in Python, Django, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS; familiarity with GitLab, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus.
For Full Stack roles, candidates should be primarily backend experts but able to contribute to frontend work using React.
Experience with event-driven systems and platform thinking is necessary, including familiarity with tools like Kafka, SQS, and observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana.
Candidates should have experience using AI tooling or be willing to learn quickly about AI to enhance efficiency.
