Remote Sr. Software Engineer

Description:

• HealthiPASS, Inc has an opening for a Sr. Software Engineer position.
• The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field along with 1 year of relevant experience exclusively in designing and developing cost estimation and claim filing solutions.
• Candidates must have 6 months of experience working with various APIs and in an agile sprint pace using healthcare and insurance industry standards.
• Responsibilities include technical design, unit testing, scalable solution development, and best practices around healthcare application lifecycle management.
• The engineer will plan and execute software development cycles and design and develop cost estimation and claim filing solutions in the healthcare insurance industry.
• The position involves implementing additional and/or modifying existing agile principles and driving a deeply agile culture.
• The engineer will provide technical expertise on critical back end and infrastructure work streams and initiatives.
• A broad knowledge of cyber security methods and technologies across the healthcare industry is required.
• The position is located in Thornton, CO, with the option for telecommuting or remote work from any state.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience working with various APIs is necessary.
