We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Rula’s Internal Operations team, which is responsible for Billing and Support workflows.
The role involves building and maintaining the platform and features across these domains.
On the Billing side, the engineer will automate and streamline billing processes for patients, providers, and insurance.
On the Support side, the engineer will build features in the internal Ops Tool to assist support agents in helping clients.
The team focuses on building reliable, scalable solutions and emphasizes communication and teamwork to solve problems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of Backend experience building modern database-backed (SQL/No-SQL) web applications.
A collaborative working style and a bias towards helping others in the team grow are essential.
Experience working on cross-functional teams is required.
Candidates should have experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, technical specing, execution, and measuring success.
Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of experience with the technology stack: Typescript, React, Node, Ruby, Python, and Kafka.
Fullstack experience in building modern database-backed web applications is preferred.
Previous experience in products with high reliability/accuracy requirements, such as finance or mission-critical systems, is advantageous.
A strong sense of ownership and a track record of delivering projects are preferred.
