RecargaPay is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to contribute to the mission of delivering the best payment experience for Brazilian consumers and small businesses.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems that support the company's financial services.
Key responsibilities include writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, and supporting continuous improvement through technology investigation.
The engineer will propose technical implementations for architectural changes, work with version control using GitHub, and create and maintain software documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have an academic background in computer science, engineering, or software development disciplines.
Hands-on engineering experience is required, particularly with medium domains of medium/high complexity.
A solid understanding of web applications, including security and session management, is essential.
Knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and Domain Driven Design is necessary; familiarity with Microservice Architecture is a plus.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS is required, along with experience in asynchronous programming.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications and using monitoring tools.
Practical experience applying AI frameworks in development projects is also required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to mentor peers.
