The Senior Solution Architect - Gaming is a key member of the Pre-Sales team supporting the casino and hospitality vertical.
This role involves direct customer interaction, assisting account managers in sales calls, recommending business and technical solutions, and creating statements of work.
It is a customer-facing position with opportunities to influence client engagement, project delivery, and technology adoption.
Responsibilities include creating architectural designs, conducting infrastructure/connectivity analysis, leading workshops, writing documentation, and creating project estimates.
The architect will serve as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, collaborating with account executives to develop tailored infrastructure solutions for casinos and hotels.
The role requires designing and presenting end-to-end solutions across hybrid cloud, data center, storage, networking, and security domains.
The architect will lead client-facing workshops and discovery sessions to capture technical requirements and propose scalable architectures.
Responsibilities also include creating detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), technical documentation, and high-level designs.
The architect will advise clients on Cisco enterprise networking solutions and act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The position involves supporting internal solution engineering and delivery teams during project handoff and implementation planning.
Staying current on emerging technologies and participating in internal knowledge sharing and mentoring are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements:
Candidates must have deep experience designing and architecting complex IT solutions across hybrid cloud, data center, storage, networking, and infrastructure modernization technologies.
Proven expertise in designing IT infrastructure solutions for casinos and hotels is required, including knowledge of gaming systems, property management systems, and guest Wi-Fi networks.
Knowledge of hospitality applications and physical IT infrastructure needs in brick-and-mortar settings is essential.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the value of IT infrastructure in improving hospitality functions and have the ability to explain complex technical concepts to hospitality stakeholders.
Understanding of casino and hotel-specific regulations, including PCI compliance and data privacy requirements, is necessary.
Familiarity with cutting-edge hospitality technologies and strong technical knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking is required.
A CCNP certification is highly desired, while a CCIE certification is a strong plus.
Candidates must have experience supporting pre-sales efforts, leading client-facing engagements, and guiding enterprise customers through complex solution evaluations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a consultative and strategic mindset.
A minimum of 10 years in a solution architecture, network engineering, or technical pre-sales role focused on enterprise infrastructure is required.

The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $195,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus plan based on performance.
