The position is for an SRE / DevOps Engineer at Veepee, part of the Sales Preparation Domain responsible for back office tools dedicated to sourcing and digital content production.
The role involves being part of the transversal SRE community while integrating into an agile product team.
Responsibilities include implementing tools and processes for deployment and industrialization, automating provisioning of resilient infrastructure, and working with development teams to facilitate regular releases.
The engineer will maintain services in operational conditions, analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies, and supervise the application portfolio in collaboration with the Network Operations Center (NOC).
Participation in the evolution of the information system and reduction of technical debt is expected.
The engineer will also promote DevOps best practices and contribute to building a transversal SRE community within Veepee.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar function.
A strong knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow, and general DevOps practices is required.
Familiarity with Linux is essential, and knowledge of Windows is a plus.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Packer, Terraform, and Ansible is necessary.
Experience with monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana is required.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
Proficiency with various databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Clickhouse, and MariaDB is required.
Knowledge of message bus systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka is necessary.
Strong verbal and written English language skills are required.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Go is a plus.
