Remote SRE / Platform Engineer

Description:

• This is a fully remote position with a working schedule of 40 hours per week, accommodating any timezone.
• The employment type is contractor, and compensation is provided in USD.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with AWS services and modern cloud architectures is required.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD is essential.
• Scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation are required.
• A solid understanding of observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, is necessary.
• Candidates should be skilled in troubleshooting distributed systems and performance issues.
• Familiarity with cloud security and cost optimization best practices is required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
• Bonus qualifications include experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Rancher, and Cattleprod.
• Advanced English communication skills are mandatory.
