Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience working with Node.js and TypeScript in a professional setting.
Extensive experience in designing and implementing distributed backend services and APIs is required.
A strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with AWS Aurora, Postgres, and Elasticsearch is necessary.
Proven experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and distributed systems is essential.
Deep knowledge of AWS services (such as Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, SQS, SNS) and cloud infrastructure is required.
Experience in designing and maintaining systems that support machine learning pipelines and large-scale data processing is needed.
A track record of scaling backend infrastructure to manage increasing load and complexity is important.

Compensation for this role ranges from USD $160,000 to $264,000 if based in the US, and CAD $176,000 to $292,000 if based in Canada.
