Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable data systems and pipelines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark and Hadoop, particularly on AWS EMR, is required, along with hands-on experience in tools like Apache Spark and Hudi/Delta Lake.
  • Proficiency in databases like PostgreSQL and familiarity with software management tools such as Git, JIRA, and CircleCI is necessary.
  • Experience in Developer Operations, including deploying to systems like AWS EMR and Kubernetes, is also required.
